Playing with colorformsJanuary 31, 2010 N. Sweeter(Massachusetts) I purchased this colorforms box for my granddaugher. My children had always enjoyed colorforms and I wanted my little one to enjoy it also.
I was a bit disapointed that the top of the box didn't stand up on it's own, I ended up cutting the ribbon that held it in place, but she enjoys it just the same.
Cute idea, but a little dissapointingJanuary 9, 2010 ellis bell(chapel hill, nc) This is such a great concept--the 3D stage with stand-up characters and colorforms to decorate with. Seems like the perfect thing to inspire little girl imaginations. But, I was a little dissapointed that the colorforms were not really designed to decorate the stand-up figures...there were simply 3 or 4 different Nancy pictures instead of providing outfits for the stand-up Nancy, which I found much less interesting for imaginative play. My 4 year old still liked it, but it became more like removable stickers rather than a chance to make up a story. She seemed unsure what to do with the stand up figures. We did find a pair of glasses and a couple things to put in her hand, but this would have been so much more fun if it was all designed to play with together.
Fancy Nancy FunJanuary 5, 2010 Marilyn Martin(Kentucky) Fancy Nancy has been fun for my grandaughter. The decals stick pretty good, but fall off easily. She made a game and pretended to be a part of the setting. I probably won't buy anymore of these though there are better things on the market.

A great combination.... COLORFORMS and FANCY NANCY. You can't go wrong with this combo! My granddaughter loves Fancy Nancy and now she stages her own stories for Fancy Nancy! It certainly encourages imagination.
